Blessed Sacrament School Ventilation Report

Dear Parents, Students and Staff,

The Waterloo Catholic District School Board is committed to providing safe, modern, and efficient
spaces for our students to learn and thrive. As part of this commitment, we have invested over
$19,000,000 board-wide in improving the ventilation and air quality systems in our classrooms. Our
team has installed upgraded filters to increase fresh air supply, added HEPA and/or UV air cleaners to all
learning spaces and upgraded key HVAC systems to support healthy learning environments. These
critical enhancements will help to protect our teachers, students, and support staff by reducing airborne
pollutants and greatly improving indoor air quality. For more information regarding upgrades carried out
at your school, please see click on this link to access the WCDSB Ventilation Report Blessed Sacrament – Ventilation Report Memo

Sincerely,
Facility Services
Waterloo Catholic District School Board

Support for Atlantic Canada

As many of you know, WCDSB has a long tradition of fundraising to assist relief efforts when natural disasters strike.

The devastation of Hurricane Fiona across Atlantic Canada has once again called us to action.

Last weekend, the Prime Minister announced the federal government will match all funds raised via the Canadian Red Cross.

Donations will support the range of emergency services the Red Cross is delivering to those in need including interim housing, clothing, food, and other essential supplies.

The Senior Team and Board of Trustees would like to invite all WCDSB schools to participate in a centralized fundraising campaign to maximize the government’s donation matching program.

All fundraising efforts will be collected centrally using the following link:

https://wcdsb.schoolcashonline.com/Fee/Details/69645/83/False/True

Thank you for your donations – God Bless!
