Popcorn Popcorn Popcorn – Come get your Popcorn

The Intermediate students had their first Popcorn Day!!

They are running a “Popcorn Tuck Shop”, to raise funds to help pay for their Intermediate Camping Trip at Camp Brebeuf.

It was such a hit that we have decided to “Re-Open the Tuck Shop”  so students can place new orders.

It has been reopened on School Cash Online.  If you have already ordered, you do not need to order again. If you have not ordered popcorn for your child, you can do so now.

Thank you for your support!!!

On Behalf of Your Catholic School Advisory Council (CSAC)

Hi Families,

We are happy to announce Pancake Tuesday was a great success. We would like to thank all volunteers for coming in to mix, flip and share pancakes with our students 🙂 We couldn’t do it without all your help!

We had a little minor hiccup with our new Blessed Sacrament Facebook group. The group was hidden; so if you searched for it you might not have been able to find it(oops!). We believe we have fixed the problem. So we encourage you to try again by searching in Facebook groups for:

Blessed Sacrament School Kitchener

This Facebook group is an information sharing group; where you can ask questions, get support and find information about things happening in school. If you still are unable to find the group please email us and we can send you an invite to join.

Our next Domino’s pizza fundraiser is coming up on Wednesday April 5th. This fundraiser is only available at the 1188 Fisher-Hallman Rd location. Be sure to use the code SGIVE to help support our school.

Save the date…Thursday May 4th for our first Spring Family Fun Night…More details coming soon!

Thank you!
Your CSAC team

Grade 9 Student Devices for September – Grade 8 Parents/Guardians Please Read

As you know, technology plays a significant role in education, and the WCDSB aims to provide students with the best possible learning experience. At this time, the WCDSB would like to assess the number of families/students that already own personal devices. Equally, they wish to assess how many families might need a device for learning when their child enters grade 9.

We would like to request that parents of all grade 8 students who intend to attend one of our secondary schools in September to check their email inbox for communication regarding a survey to assess system technology needs. The email will contain a link to a short survey that will take only a minute to complete.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact innovation@wcdsb.ca.
