Just a reminder to all parents/guardians doing morning drop off and afternoon pick up that cars are not allowed in the bus drop off zone (the front of the school). This is for busses only.
Please remember to use the roundabout in the staff parking lot.
Thank you!

Mrs. McGlynn Appreciation Day!
The staff and students at Blessed Sacrament would like to say a huge THANK YOU to Mrs. McGlynn today on “Administrative Assistant’s Day”. YOU are the face of our school. The first smile that our students and families see when they come to us. YOU are the medical expert, giving ice, providing tissues and paper towels, handing out medication and inhalers. YOU are the mental health experts, calming bodies, minds and hearts with ease. YOU are the one that our students go to for everything they need; the ones that all staff go to for everything they need; and the ones that our Administrators go to for everything we need.
Behind every successful day at school – however you measure that success – is YOU. Today we recognize the sacrifices you make in your personal time, your family time and in your lives for the good of the school. We recognize the dedication you have to your communities and we recognize the challenges that you deal with – with ease.
Today we recognize YOU and the impact that you have on our world. You keep us all going!
Spring Family Fun Night Information
Dear Parents and/or Guardians,
Your Catholic School Advisory Council will be conducting a major fundraising activity by holding a Spring Family Fun Night on Thursday May 4th from 5:00-7:30 pm. We invite families to join us in a social event to meet new families and friends and support our school.
Families are invited to come into the school to view the students’ art show in the halls, watch a magic show, trade spirit wear at the 1st ever spirit wear swap (details to come), raffle prize basket tables and food trucks. Then on Friday, students will be participating in a school wide sport-a-thon event.
For this fundraising event which involves students gathering pledges. The School Council will be promoting raffle baskets for our students as they gather pledges. Students will earn eligibility for prizes based on every $5 they raise. Not only will the students get a chance to win these amazing prizes, but the top selling class for the Primary and Junior/Intermediate divisions will also win their choice of class ice cream or pizza party! The top three students who raise the most will have a take-out lunch with Mr. Rose. Raffle basket prizes will be distributed on Friday May 5, 2023.
A pledge sheet will be on the reverse of the hard copy of this newsletter that will be sent home on Monday. This pledge form is for the families to keep track of their pledges, we do not need this form returned to the school. We would ask parents to go to School Cash Online to enter the Total Amount collected from all pledges.
For the safety of our students we are requesting no door to door soliciting of pledges. Our School Council’s fundraising efforts this year will be directed toward the continued support of construction of a playground. Your School Council has set a target to raise $8000. If every child in our school was able to raise $25 each, we would exceed our goal! If the school reaches our goal of $8000, not only will the students have a great sports-a-thon, but they will vote on another initiative in school and the top pick will be awarded.
All pledges must be entered into school cash online no later than May 4th 11:59 PM. The sooner pledges are entered into school cash online, students will be able to enter tickets in the raffle baskets (during the week of May 1st- 4th). No cheques can be accepted or cash sent into the school.
Your efforts in supporting this fundraiser will go a long way in allowing us to provide great initiatives and activities which in the long run benefit our students here at Blessed Sacrament School!
Thank you for supporting our school initiatives!
