Catholics around the world revere this week as the holiest week of the year.

Here at Blessed Sacrament we also recognize this and will commemorate the week both in class, with special teaching activities, and school wide with prayer services.

On Monday we will launch the week with a Holy Week Prayer Service with a focus on Jesus’ triumph entry into Jerusalem and His passion at 10:00 a.m.  Students are welcome to bring the palms they received from church.

On Tuesday the intermediate students will lead us in a school wide Stations of the Cross at 2:00 p.m.

On Thursday we will celebrate our name sake by having a special prayer service commemorating the Last Supper: the institution of the Eucharist and a call to Service.

Good Friday is there is no school so that we may all commemorate our Lord’s passion at our local churches. All Catholic Churches have a 3:00 pm service on this day.

We wish you a blessed Holy Week!
