Dear Blessed Sacrament Families,
Our SEEC (Student Equity Engagement Committee) has been working hard putting together a Holiday Culture Day! Being a school with such a diverse population, this upcoming day is very exciting for us. We are hoping that this will allow all students to get a glimpse of who makes up our school community and how other cultures celebrate the holidays!
We will be giving presentations about different holidays around the world. The presentations will take place on Friday December 15, 2023. In our planning, we thought it would be wonderful if students dressed in traditional clothing that represents their culture. For future Culture Days, we will focus on other countries where students within our school community originate from.
Things to discuss with your child about Holiday Traditions. After the presentation, if you would like to have a discussion with your child(ren) about different or your own holiday traditions, here are some guiding questions:
